{"id":527902,"date":"2026-03-28T17:49:18","date_gmt":"2026-03-28T17:49:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/527902\/"},"modified":"2026-03-28T17:49:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-28T17:49:18","slug":"stars-activate-f-mikko-rantanen-off-injured-reserve-field-level-media-professional-sports-content-solutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/527902\/","title":{"rendered":"Stars activate F Mikko Rantanen off injured reserve &#8211; Field Level Media &#8211; Professional sports content solutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Dallas Stars activated forward Mikko Rantanen from injured reserve on Saturday, hours before the team\u2019s game against the host Pittsburgh Penguins.<\/p>\n<p>Rantanen has been sidelined since the Olympic break due to the lower-body injury he sustained during the Milan Cortina Games.<\/p>\n<p>The veteran of 11 NHL seasons was injured in Finland\u2019s game against Canada on Feb. 20 and did not suit up in the bronze-medal match against Slovakia. He had six points (two goals, four assists) in five games for the Finns.<\/p>\n<p>Rantanen, 29, has 69 points (20 goals, 49 assists) in 54 games with the Stars this season.<\/p>\n<p>Signed to an eight-year, $96 million contract, Rantanen has totaled 774 points (314 goals, 460 assists) in 706 career games with the Colorado Avalanche (2015-25), Carolina Hurricanes (2025) and Stars (2025-26).
