A very interesting gesture by Montreal Canadiens goaltender Jacob Fowler is drawing attention.<\/p>\n

It says a lot about his attachment and love for Montreal and for Quebec!<\/p>\n

He decided to remove his well-known Florida plate from his goalie mask and replace it with a Quebec plate, featuring the iconic “Je me souviens” prominently!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a subtle gesture, but one that says so much about his intentions and his love for his new home.<\/p>\n

Tonight, against the Predators in Nashville, the young goaltender indeed made his debut with a beautiful brand-new mask.<\/p>\n

The detail that is particularly catching attention is, without a doubt, the Florida license plate being replaced by a Quebec plate.<\/p>\n

For an athlete born in Florida, this shift clearly shows how quickly he has grown attached to his new home.<\/p>\n

A rather amusing and very interesting fact: both of the team\u2019s current goaltenders proudly display elements of Quebec culture on their respective masks.<\/p>\n

Even though they are neither Quebecers nor Canadian by birth, Jacob Fowler and Jakub Dobes appear eager to embrace Quebec identity.<\/p>\n

In Jakub Dobes\u2019 case, you can also spot a beautiful fleur-de-lis along with the iconic chant “Ol\u00e9 Ol\u00e9 Ol\u00e9.”<\/p>\n

These small symbolic gestures, while simple on the surface, go a long way in building a strong bond of trust and connection with fans.<\/p>\n
