Gudas expressed remorse that day, saying he felt \u201cterrible\u201d for the hit on Matthews.<\/p>\n Two nights after Gudas returned, he was hurt against the Calgary Flames<\/a> and did not play in Edmonton against the Oilers on Saturday, casting doubt on his participation against the Leafs.<\/p>\n Advertisement 4<\/p>\n This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.<\/p>\n Article content<\/p>\n \u201cGood to play,\u201d Gudas said on Monday when he was asked about his health.<\/p>\n Leafs recall Bo Groulx<\/p>\n Bo Groulx is back with the Leafs.<\/p>\n The 26-year-old forward has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies on an emergency basis.<\/p>\n Groulx had three goals and two assists in nine games with the Leafs before he was sent back to the Marlies on Friday.<\/p>\n Had he played in a 10th game, he would have required waivers to be sent to the American Hockey League and the Leafs didn\u2019t want to risk losing him to another NHL club.<\/p>\n The Leafs were able to recall him on an emergency basis after he played in one game with the Marlies and he filled that requirement when he suited up against Rochester on Friday. Now, when Groulx is returned to the Marlies for the AHL playoffs, he will not require waivers as the recall was for emergency reasons.<\/p>\n Advertisement 5<\/p>\n This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.<\/p>\n Article content<\/p>\n When the Leafs lost 5-1 in St. Louis against the Blues on Saturday \u2014 recording a season-low 13 shots on goal \u2014 they didn\u2019t have a 13th forward with them.<\/p>\n Whether Groulx is in the lineup against the Ducks is to be determined.<\/p>\n When the Leafs sent Groulx down on Friday, Berube said he didn\u2019t need to give the player any specific instructions. At the time, though, Berube made it sound like Groulx wouldn\u2019t be back with the Leafs this soon.<\/p>\n \u201cHe wanted to go down and help them and play,\u201d Berube said on Friday. \u201cThat\u2019s a testament to his character and what he believes in, and how it all works, and he understands it.<\/p>\n \u201cHe played well.
