OLIVE: As one of the new guys, what are some of your goals for the rest of the season?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: That\u2019s a good question. I think I\u2019m just trying to establish who I am as a player to the coaching staff and the management, showing them what I can bring to help the team win and better the team.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: After recently crossing the 70-game mark in your NHL career, what have you learned about your game so far?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: I think you\u2019ve just got to adapt a little bit in different situations. From junior, to the American League, to the NHL, it\u2019s just finding a way my to be the most effective I can be.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: With that, how nice has it been to get to play more than 50 games this season and really get a feel for what it\u2019s like to be a regular in the NHL?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: It\u2019s everyone dream to do that in a season. It\u2019s pretty cool. Now there\u2019s always a sense of wanting more and trying to build off what you\u2019ve built already.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: Time for some quick hitters! What\u2019s your favorite food?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: I like pizza lot.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: What\u2019s the ideal pizza?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: A thin crust deluxe.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: What\u2019s your favorite movie?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: I\u2019ll go with Step Brothers. No, wait, Grown Ups. That\u2019s a classic.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: What\u2019s your favorite TV show?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: The prequels to Yellowstone. They’re 1883 and 1923.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: Other than hockey, what\u2019s something else you\u2019re really good at?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: Hmm. I\u2019m a pretty good carpenter. Just natural skills I\u2019ve picked up on the ranch. Actually, I\u2019m also really good at driving a skid steer. It\u2019s like a Bobcat.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: If you weren\u2019t a hockey player, what would you be?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: If I had to pick another sport, probably golf.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: I know you\u2019ve been on the road a lot since you joined the Panthers, but do you have a favorite spot to grab a bite to eat in South Florida yet?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: Takato is a good one. I\u2019ve been there in the past, too. Good spot. It\u2019s a chain, but I also love CAVA.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: Which teammates do you spend the most time with away from the rink?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: Probably (Donovan) Sebrango. Just the younger crew, guys like (Cole) Schwindt, Samo (Mackie Samoskevich) and Dodge (Sebrango).<\/p>\n
OLIVE: You and Sebrango played a bit in the AHL together, right?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: Yep, three years.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: What\u2019s your favorite hockey memory to date?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: Probably just all the firsts \u2013 first game, first point, first goal.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: Where do those pucks live these days?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: They\u2019re at home. I think they\u2019re in a drawer. I need to frame them.<\/p>\n
OLIVE: What\u2019s the best advice you\u2019ve received in your career?<\/p>\n
REINHARDT: That\u2019s a good question. I\u2019m a guy that’s just tried to pick everyone\u2019s brain. Whoever it is, from goalies to D-men to forwards, anyone that\u2019s been in the league a long time.
