MONTREAL \u2013 The Montreal Canadiens announced Wednesday their fourth and final special 50\/50 raffle of the 2025-26 season, a fundraiser that will benefit the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS). The initiative will run for a week online and conclude live at the Bell Centre during the Canadiens-Panthers game on Tuesday, April 7.<\/p>\n
The Canadian Cancer Society is leading the way toward a future without cancer. CCS aspires to be the most impactful cancer charity in Canada by saving and improving lives and driving collective action against the disease. For over 70 years, April has marked Daffodil Month, the organization\u2019s longest-running campaign that serves as a dedicated time to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. Overall, close to half of all Canadians will receive a cancer diagnosis at some point in their lives; in 2025, Quebec registered the highest rate of incidence in the country both in men and in women, with 9% of new cases being found in people under 50.<\/p>\n
