The initiative will run for a week online and conclude live at the Bell Centre during the Canadiens-Panthers game on Tuesday, April 7.

The Canadian Cancer Society is leading the way toward a future without cancer. CCS aspires to be the most impactful cancer charity in Canada by saving and improving lives and driving collective action against the disease. For over 70 years, April has marked Daffodil Month, the organization’s longest-running campaign that serves as a dedicated time to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. Overall, close to half of all Canadians will receive a cancer diagnosis at some point in their lives; in 2025, Quebec registered the highest rate of incidence in the country both in men and in women, with 9% of new cases being found in people under 50.

“It is often repeated that everyone knows someone who has been directly affected by cancer,” said France Margaret Bélanger, President, Groupe CH Sports and Entertainment. “While this continues to be unfortunately true today, scientific advances and research supported by the Canadian Cancer Society are allowing for treatment options and care that continue to evolve and better serve patients and their families, directly helping countless people in our community. It is our distinct privilege as an organization to help underscore and support their invaluable work, particularly in this Daffodil Month that holds special meaning relating to strength, hope, and life.”

Those wishing to purchase 50/50 tickets online for the special fundraiser can do so now at scc5050.com. Fans attending next Tuesday’s game will also be able to do so live in-person at the Bell Centre.

“We’re deeply appreciative of this partnership with the Montreal Canadiens,” said Jean-Sébastien Boudreault, Executive Director, Corporate and Community Partnerships, Quebec, Canadian Cancer Society. “This 50/50 raffle highlights the importance of collective action. It reflects our belief that it takes a society to take on cancer – and when we act as a team, we can advance innovative research and accelerate progress for everyone affected by the disease.”

The special 50/50 raffle in support of the Canadian Cancer Society will be the last of four held by the Canadiens over the course of their 2025-26 home calendar. The first, held on November 11, raised funds for True Patriot Love, dedicated to supporting military members, veterans, and their families. The second, held on December 20, was dedicated to the Old Brewery Mission and their aim of ending the cycle of homelessness. The third was held on February 26 and benefited the Jewish General Hospital Foundation and its mission to enhance patient care and advance scientific discovery.

For more information on all aspects of Tuesday’s special fundraiser, head to canadiens.com/raffle.

MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens announced Wednesday their fourth and final special 50/50 raffle of the 2025-26 season,…

[5103
265,5,264,21,5147,4
0":"post-534924","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-montreal-canadiens","8":"tag-canadiens","9":"tag-hockey","10":"tag-montreal","11":"tag-montreal-canadiens","12":"tag-montrealcanadiens","13":"tag-nhl
["GET
