Fredrik Andersen is 13-13-5 in\u00a031\u00a0starts with a 3.16\u00a0GAA and .871\u00a0save percentage, while injuries have limited Pyotr Kochetkov to nine appearances.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s\u00a0new: You know what\u00a0you&#8217;re\u00a0getting with the Canes, as their smothering style again has Carolina first in the league in shot attempt\u00a0share\u00a0(60.0\u00a0percent) at 5-on-5 by a wide margin. They put pressure on you from the opening faceoff and fire\u00a0just about everything\u00a0toward the net, putting teams under stress for a full 60 minutes. The Hurricanes have cranked it up over the past two months, going\u00a023-7-3 in the last\u00a033\u00a0games; Carolina has averaged 3.8 goals per game and\u00a0converted\u00a031.0\u00a0percent of its power plays in that span.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Trending:\u00a0After Tuesday&#8217;s game,\u00a0the Canes have won two of the three matchups this season, including a 4-1 win Dec. 9 in the\u00a0previous\u00a0game in Raleigh.
