The Boston Bruins<\/a> are opening a four-game road trip, starting against the Florida Panthers<\/a> in Sunrise, FL, tonight.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Bruins are hot; their opponent is severely hurt. Boston has not beaten Florida this season (0-1-1), and the two teams see themselves in different corners of the standings.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There were three games last night, none of them in the Eastern Conference, but still some exciting action. The worst team in the league beat the best team in the league in a 14-goal game, and Macklin Celebrini continued to dominate at just 19 years old.\u00a0<\/p>\n

GAMEDAY: The Bruins (43-24-8) are in South Florida for their third and final meeting against the Panthers (36-35-3), who are injured, but still feature some old friends in the lineup. The Bruins have won four in a row, and they have points in their last seven road games (4-0-3).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Prospects Update<\/p>\n

The Providence Bruins<\/a> picked up win No. 50 on the season for the first time since 2012-13. They picked up a 3-2 shootout win in Utica, NY, last night.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Florida Hockey Now<\/a>: The Panthers are hurt. They are now down 11 regulars and only have two defensemen from their opening night lineup. George Richards has more on tonight\u2019s opponent.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

San Jose Hockey Now<\/a>: Macklin Celebrini<\/a> had a four-point night (2-2\u20134) for the Sharks; they beat the Ducks 4-3. In the process, he scored his 40th goal of the season. Sheng Peng has the locker room reaction from the Shark Tank.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Philly Hockey Now<\/a>: The Flyers inked a two-year contract with David Jiricek<\/a> yesterday ($1.5 M AAV).
