The Canucks were firing on all cylinders, led by a hat-trick performance from Brock Boeser, as culture officially starts to build within the locker room of this brand new Vancouver Canucks roster.

Minnesota Wild News and Notes:

As Minnesota continues to grapple for a playoff spot, the are maintaining the third seed in the Central division as of right now. However, they have been very inconsistent over the past three weeks, losing five of their last eight games, putting them at a standstill. The Wild should have it locked up, with their twelve-point advantage on the next highest team in the Utah Mammoth, but Minnesota is desperately searching for the playoff-cinching victory, so that they can step back and take a deep breath

Vancouver Canucks Projected Lines:

Ohgren-E. There were five other guys with multi-point performances and who are a threat to contribute again. Teddy Blueger potted two goals, both Marco Rossi and Drew O’Connor grabbed two assists, Max Sasson notched one goal and one assist, and Marcus Pettersson potted one and dished out two, for his first three-point game with the Vancouver Canucks since coming over from the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Minnesota Wild:

For offensive producers on the side of Minnesota, obviously, you’ve got to be on the lookout for former Canucks captain Quinn Hughes to be a demon on both sides of the puck, tacking on the fact that he’s got five points in his last four games and is tied for 4th in assists on the season. However, Minnesota can hit you from anywhere, including the brotherly duo of Marcus Foligno and Nick Foligno, who finally get to play together. Nick was moved to Minnesota from the Chicago Blackhawks at the NHL Trade Deadline, and as Marcus returned from injury just two games ago and has already notched a goal.

Injury Report:

Vancouver Canucks:

LW Evander Kane – Day to Day
C Filip Chytil – IR
D Derek Forbort – LTIR
G Thatcher Demko – LTIR

Minnesota Wild:

Next Game:

Minnesota Wild: Saturday, April 4 at Ottawa Senators – 1 pm ET
Vancouver Canucks: Saturday, April 4 vs. Utah Mammoth – 7 pm ET

Discover more from Inside The Rink

Subscribe to get the latest posts sent to your email.

Vancouver Canucks (36-14-9, 81 pts) at Minnesota Wild (18-34-7, 43 pts)Venue: Grand Casino ArenaDate: Thursday, April 2ndTime: 8:00…

[5118
305,96,144,1614,5,1486,1336,3465,161,38,5280,4,5573,60,548,5851,32723,1496,14,10316,3154,162
0":"post-536952","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-minnesota-wild","8":"tag-brock-boeser","9":"tag-chicago-blackhawks","10":"tag-colorado-avalanche","11":"tag-drew-oconnor","12":"tag-hockey","13":"tag-marco-rossi","14":"tag-marcus-foligno","15":"tag-marcus-pettersson","16":"tag-minnesota","17":"tag-minnesota-wild","18":"tag-minnesotawild","19":"tag-nhl","20":"tag-nhl-game-preview","21":"tag-nhl-playoffs","22":"tag-nhl-trade-deadline","23":"tag-nick-foligno","24":"tag-pittsbugh-penguins","25":"tag-quinn-hughes","26":"tag-stanley-cup","27":"tag-teddy-blueger","28":"tag-utah-mammoth","29":"tag-wild
["GET
