Hurtig has a goal and two assists through the first three games of the Hitmen\u2019s opening-round series, helping Calgary surge to a commanding 3\u20130 lead.<\/p>\n<p>Drafted in the seventh round (208th overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft, Hurtig has steadily developed into a reliable shutdown option. According to Elite Prospects, his game is defined by his imposing frame and physicality \u2014 a \u201ctowering presence\u201d who can smother opposing forwards along the boards and make life difficult once play settles in the corners.<\/p>\n<p>Hurtig also brings international experience, having represented Sweden at the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship.
