Gabriel Vilardi is playing some of his best hockey of the season while leading the charge on the Winnipeg Jets’ second line.<\/p>\n

He has a great history of production against Dallas. Given his current form, my Jets vs. Stars predictions see Vilardi building on it this time around.<\/p>\n

Gabriel Vilardi<\/a> is heating up, tallying points in four of his past five games.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s playing excellent hockey alongside Cole Perfetti<\/a> and Adam Lowry<\/a> on the second line, with the trio having controlled more than 62% of the expected goals and generated chances efficiently.<\/p>\n

Vilardi\u2019s strong play should continue against the Dallas Stars. He hasn\u2019t struggled in the least against high-end opponents, finding the scoresheet in 62% of his appearances against Top-10 defenses.\u00a0<\/p>\n

That includes three meetings with the Stars, in all of which he produced at least one point in.<\/p>\n

Kyle Connor<\/a> is one of the best offensive players in the sport, and he owns a remarkable track record against the Stars, finding the scoresheet in seven consecutive meetings. Connor correlates with Vilardi on the top power play unit.<\/p>\n

Win or lose, I like the Winnipeg Jets<\/a> to keep this one close. They\u2019re playing strong defensive hockey, they\u2019ve figured out an optimal Top 6, and Connor Hellebuyck<\/a> is still arguably the best goaltender in the world.<\/p>\n
