A leader in the nation\u2019s capital is being questioned for his father\u2019s recent remarks. <\/p>\n
When speaking to the media after the team\u2019s win over the Buffalo Sabres<\/a> on Thursday night, Ottawa Senators<\/a> captain Brady Tkachuk was asked about comments from his father, long-time NHLer Keith Tkachuk, to what many believed was him taking a shot at the team\u2019s lack of toughness. <\/p>\n Keith joined Brady and his brother, Florida Panthers<\/a> forward Matthew Tkachuk, on a recent episode of their Wingmen podcast earlier this week. When talking about injuries,\u00a0Keith mentioned how \u201cdisgusting\u201d\u00a0<\/a>some of the softness of players in today\u2019s game is. Keith also seemed to make a subtle jab at Senators\u2019 goaltender Linus Ullmark in a mocking tone.<\/p>\n \u201c\u2018I can\u2019t play back-to-backs,\u201d Keith said. \u201c\u2018Risk management.\u2019 Grant Fuhr played [76] games.\u201d<\/p>\n The remarks on the show certainly made both Matthew and Brady a little uncomfortable, though Matthew and Brady tried to laugh off Keith\u2019s comments. <\/p>\n On Thursday, Brady pointed out that his dad wasn\u2019t talking about the Senators, but rather the Panthers.<\/p>\n
