{"id":538508,"date":"2026-04-03T14:05:19","date_gmt":"2026-04-03T14:05:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/538508\/"},"modified":"2026-04-03T14:05:19","modified_gmt":"2026-04-03T14:05:19","slug":"nhl-fans-being-investigated-for-nazi-salute-during-stars-game","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/538508\/","title":{"rendered":"NHL fans being investigated for Nazi salute during Stars game"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The American Airlines Center in Dallas is investigating whether a group of fans made a Nazi salute during a December game, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/texas\/news\/dallas-stars-fans-nazi-salute-video-american-airlines-center-investigation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">according to reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The fans in question were allegedly captured doing the gesture during a 5-1 win against the Maple Leafs on Dec. 21, and the clip recently went viral.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmerican Airlines Arena (AAC) has zero tolerance for any acts of hate and\/or discrimination, and we aim to ensure an environment for our guests that is free from disruptive behaviors, including foul\/abusive language and obscene gestures,\u201d the AAC said in a release Wednesday, per ESPN.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.69469469;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"38981276\" width=\"410\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Screenshot-2026-04-03-at-9.22.30-AM.png\" alt=\"Several men, some wearing green Dallas Stars hockey jerseys, standing and cheering.\" class=\"wp-image-38981276\"  \/>Fans doing the Nazi salute during a December game. @HalfInchHollow\/X<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs such, we strongly denounce the actions that appear to be depicted in the video footage and are conducting an internal investigation.
