During the past 12 seasons, Mosaic has donated\u00a0nearly\u00a0$1.4 million dollars through the Goals for Food Partnership \u2013\u00a0which is the equivalent of\u00a0providing nearly 14\u00a0million meals to fight hunger.<\/p>\n<p>Mosaic\u2019s Goals for Food program donates $1,000 for every goal and $1,500 for every hat trick scored by a Lightning player on home ice. A new addition this season, the Goals for Food program also donates $5,000 for every Lightning game that goes to overtime, both at home and on the road. At the end of the season, the total donation is distributed among local food partner organizations dedicated to ending food insecurity throughout West Central Florida. Funds are used by these partners to assist countless families by providing food relief in times of crisis, backpack programs for school-age kids, mobile and school food pantries, and other programs.<\/p>\n<p>As of today, Mosaic\u2019s Goals for Food donation for the 2025-2026 season has exceeded $200,000 and already surpassed last season\u2019s total. This season\u2019s donation will benefit these local food partners:<\/p>\n<p>All Faiths Food Bank\u00a0<br \/>\nCutting Edge Ministries<br \/>\nECHO<br \/>\nFeeding Tampa Bay<br \/>\nGrow My Giving<br \/>\nHardee Help Center<br \/>\nHelp of Fort Meade<br \/>\nManatee Food Bank<br \/>\nMetropolitan Ministries<br \/>\nMulberry Community Service Center, Inc.<\/p>\n<p>United Food Bank and Services of Plant City<\/p>\n<p>On April 2, Mosaic employees, community partners, and Lightning fans came together to celebrate this milestone and continued to raise awareness about the need to support families facing food insecurity in West Central Florida.
