Mandatory Credit: Jerome Miron-Imagn Images   <\/p>\n<p>Jake Oettinger made 22 saves for his 15th career shutout and the host Dallas Stars defeated the Winnipeg Jets 3-0 on Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>It was Oettinger&#8217;s third shutout of the season and the sixth time the Jets have been shut out.<\/p>\n<p>Arttu Hyry and Adam Erne had a goal and an assist each and Matt Duchene also scored for the Stars (45-19-12, 102 points), who snapped their two-game losing streak and had been 1-4-2 in their previous seven.<\/p>\n<p>Connor Hellebuyck stopped 18 shots for the Jets (32-31-12, 76 points), who had won four out of their last five and are chasing a Western Conference wild-card playoff spot.<\/p>\n<p>Dallas scored twice in a span of 1:29 to take a 2-0 lead in the middle of the first period.<\/p>\n<p>Duchene got a power-play goal 9:43 into the game when he banked a shot in off of Hellebuyck from below the goal line to Hellebuyck&#8217;s right. <\/p>\n<p>Hyry made it 2-0 with 8:48 left in the opening period by completing a three-way passing play with a shot from the bottom of the right circle off the rush.
