Even with the season concluded, Wisconsin Badgers<\/a> women’s hockey star Carolina Harvey still has all eyes on her.<\/p>\n

On April 3, the senior defender was named the 2026 USCHO Player of the Year<\/a>. The Badgers proceeded to post her updated resume, which includes incredible honors that begin with being an Olympic Gold Medalist and NCAA National Champion.<\/p>\n

Harvey is the centerpiece to Wisconsin’s tremendous defense, one that guided the team to its second straight National Championship<\/a>. The 2026 Patty Kazmaier Award seemed to be the tip of the iceberg, as Harvey was also named WCHA Defender of the Year and Player of the Year.<\/p>\n

If that’s not enough, Harvey was an ACHA First-Team All-American. She was also named to the NCAA All-Tournament team, and it’s important not to forget the fact that she was this year’s Olympic MVP.<\/p>\n

Now, Harvey can add USCHO Player of the Year to the laundry list of accolades she’s picked up in this season alone. Seemingly, no defender has put up the offensive numbers that Harvey has, and this is a player the all-time winningest coach in NCAA history will undoubtedly struggle to replace. No matter how good Mark Johnson has been throughout his career and will continue to be, there won’t ever be another Caroline Harvey to play for the Badgers.<\/p>\n
