The playoff push gets tighter with the Flyers involved, and they are now tied in a four-way tie with 88 points, only one behind the NY Islanders for the third spot in the Metropolitan.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In other league news, the Maple Leafs\u2019 asking price for forward Matthew Knies was high, like many at the trade deadline. Two Original Six teams were checking in on the 23-year-old forward, but no deal was struck. Elsewhere, the Red Wings have four guys scoring half their goals, and Jack Hughes\u2019s golden goal tour has not ended.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The NHL schedule is filled with 15 games today, starting at 12:30 PM with the last puck drop set for 10:00 PM.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Happy Saturday, catch up on Bruins and league news in today\u2019s Daily Bean:<\/p>\n<p>Boston Bruins<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bostonhockeynow.com\/2026-04-04-bruins-game-77-notes-lines-watch-lightning\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">GAMEDAY<\/a>: The Boston Bruins (43-25-8) are in Tampa, FL, today for an indoor game against the Tampa Bay Lightning (47-22-6). They have not beaten the Lightning this season, losing 6-4 and 6-5 in a shootout during the first two meetings. The Lightning rank first in the Atlantic Division with 100 points.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bostonhockeynow.com\/2026-04-03-bruins-responded-losses-since-new-year\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">RESPONDING TO LOSSES<\/a>: The Bruins lost on Thursday in Florida, but recently, they have turned the page quickly.
