The Canucks have officially clinched last place in the NHL for the 2025-26 season as well as the top odds for the first overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. The Canucks grabbed a monumental win on Wednesday in an 8-6 victory against the Colorado Avalanche, however the got swiftly defeated in a 2-5 loss to the Minnesota Wild the very next day.
