We open up NHL predictions with our featured game between the Colorado Avalanche<\/a> and the Dallas Stars<\/a>. Colorado is expected to give Mackenzie Blackwood<\/a> the start in this game. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Avs are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games and are without All-World defenceman Cale Makar<\/a>. This game will represent the 1,000th consecutive game<\/a> that veteran blueliner Brent Burns<\/a> has played in.<\/p>\n

Jake Oettinger<\/a> is the projected starter for Dallas, which is 3-5-2 in its last 10 games. However, the Stars did pick up an important victory over the Winnipeg Jets<\/a> last time out. Wyatt Johnston<\/a> has the team\u2019s lead in goals this season with 41. The Stars have a chance to win the season series over the Avalanche with a victory.<\/p>\n

Colorado is still a talented team without Makar. However, Dallas should register the win.<\/p>\n
