Dan Vladar has been on a serious roll for the Philadelphia Flyers this 2025-26 season.The 28-year-old Czech goaltender signed a two-year, $6.7M deal with Philly in the 2025 offseason after backing up in Calgary, and he\u2019s stepped up big time as their clear No. 1 netminder.<\/p>\n

Record: 25-13-7
\nGAA: 2.47
\nSV%: .905
\nHe\u2019s hit a career-high in wins (first time reaching 25) and has been a huge reason the Flyers are still battling for a playoff spot in the Metropolitan Division despite the team\u2019s inconsistencies. cbssports.com<\/p>\n

Recent form has been solid overall:<\/p>\n

On April 3 vs. NY Islanders: Stopped 21 of 22 shots in a 4-1 win (.955 SV%)
\nHe\u2019s been getting high praise for consistency (ranked as one of the NHL\u2019s top consistent goalies earlier in the season) and for making key saves that keep Philly in games. <\/p>\n

Vladar has had his \u201cwall mode\u201d and made some big glove saves, especially in tight moments. He\u2019s earned the starter\u2019s workload under Rick Tocchet, and there\u2019s talk he could be in the mix for team MVP honors if the Flyers push for playoffs.<\/p>\n

As every goalie has done throughout the season, Vladar has had some ups and downs (like a rough outing vs. Washington), but overall it\u2019s been a strong bounce-back year showing he can handle the No. 1 role. If the Flyers\u2019 offense can give him a bit more support, he could carry them even further.<\/p>\n
