Meanwhile, Kevin Korchinski cut low to the net. With a smooth skate to stick play, Korchinski found Boisvert in the slot, who beat Phillip Grubauer clean.<\/p>\n The former first-rounder\u2019s goal proved to be the deciding factor in the 4-2 win for the Chicago Blackhawks.\u00a0 When asked after the game, Sacha commented: \u201cFelt amazing, it was a big goal, makes it even better.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Chicago\u2019s Line Two of Doom (Name Still in Works)\u00a0<\/p>\n With the Chicago Blackhawks being eliminated from the playoffs, Jeff Blashill has tinkered with the lines a bit. And he may have just found a gem in the second line. Ilya Mikheyev, Anton Frondell, and Tyler Bertuzzi have been stellar together. On Saturday night, the line was involved in two of Chicago\u2019s goals. Taken seventh overall in the 2022 draft, Korchinski had a rough rookie campaign. The former Seattle Thunderbird has seen success in the AHL with Rockford, but it has never translated.\u00a0<\/p>\n This recent call-up, however, Korchinski hasn\u2019t been noticeable. In the best possible way. The Saskatoon native has been +1 and has not been on the ice for an opponent\u2019s goal in the last four games. His 72.44 Goals on-ice 5v5 expected goals percentage (the amount of quality chances given up, compared to the chances created) led the team.<\/a> Despite his previous hardships, Korchinski has looked more than solid for a Chicago team finding its identity down the stretch.<\/p>\n Frank Nazar: The Hot Hand<\/p>\n If there was one word to describe Frank Nazar, it would be streaky. After breaking his jaw in December, Nazar struggled to regain his form. Good news, he found it.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Michigan product has been stellar since March 3rd. In 17 games, Nazar has notched 15 points, including his first multi-point game against the New Jersey Devils recently. As Connor Bedard\u2019s production has taken a slight dip to just under a point per game, Nazar has stepped up.\u00a0<\/p>\n Tonight, Nazar and Bedard combined for an assist on Tuevo Tervainen\u2019s power-play goal that broke open the scoring for the Hawks.\u00a0<\/p>\n
