Patrick Roy is out on Long Island, and longtime head coach Pete DeBoer is in. They fall to 0-2-1 in their road trip. Pavel Zacha scored his 29th goal of the season, which was his 11th on the power play, but that was it. And for good reason, the Bruins are in the middle of a playoff push. The Detroit Red Wings attempted a third-period comeback, but the Minnesota Wild halted it. Bob Duff has more on the Red Wings running out of time, and coach Todd McLellan running out of patience.

The Wings remain outside of the playoff picture; they are two points behind the Senators for the second wild card.

Montreal Hockey Now: The Canadiens’ eight-game win streak came to a close yesterday.
