That includes a boost from a line of Olympic merchandise and \u201cbeer sabres that sold out quickly.\u201d Western N.Y. retailer BFLO Store has seen sales numbers for Sabres items \u201cup by almost 30%\u201d from last season at the BFLO Store\u2019s four locations and from online purchases nationally and in Canada\u202f&#8211; and that is \u201cwithout getting the expected boost in sales now that the team has clinched a playoff spot\u201d and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2026\/04\/03\/sabres-season-ticket-holders-driving-playoff-ticket-demand\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2026\/04\/03\/sabres-season-ticket-holders-driving-playoff-ticket-demand\/\">postseason gear<\/a> comes out. Sabres COO &amp; President of Business Operations Pete Guelli said, \u201cAnything we put out, the response has been overwhelming.\u201d Retailer Dave &amp; Adam\u2019s Director of Media, Public Relations and Athlete Relations Chris Bandura said that the company, which sells licensed Sabres apparel, has also seen a \u201chuge uptick\u201d in sales around Sabres products and merchandise.
