The Winnipeg Jets<\/a> return home for a quick stop at Canada Life Centre to face the Seattle Kraken<\/a> tonight in their sixth-last game of the regular season.Winnipeg concluded its four-game road trip (3-1-0) on Saturday in Columbus, where they edged out a 2-1 regulation victory<\/a>. Kyle Connor found the back of the net twice. His 35th of the season tied the game in the second period, while his 36th was the eventual game-winner midway through the third. The Jets improved to 33-31-12 while Connor Hellebuyck made 15 saves.<\/p>\n The Kraken fell 4-2 to Chicago on Saturday, their fourth consecutive defeat (0-3-1). Seattle currently holds a 32-32-11 record and sits six points out of a playoff spot, while Winnipeg is three back. Both clubs have six games remaining, including tonight.<\/p>\n The big news for Winnipeg at today\u2019s morning skate is that forwards Nino Niederreiter and Vladislav Namestnikov are set to return<\/a> from injury. Niederreiter underwent surgery in early March following the Olympics, while Namestnikov sustained a lower-body injury in the Jets\u2019 second game back from the Olympic break.The bad news is that forward Morgan Barron was injured in Columbus on Saturday and is out week-to-week<\/a>.<\/p>\n Winnipeg has yet to beat Seattle this season. The Kraken took Game 1 by a score of 3-0 on Oct. 23 and Game 2, 5-3, on Nov. 13.
