Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki addressed the situation around Cole Caufield\u2019s push for 50 goals after the loss to the Devils.<\/p>\n

This narrative had even been fueled by head coach Martin St. Louis himself, who candidly admitted that his players were trying too hard to find number 13 on the ice.<\/p>\n

However, Nick Suzuki offered a completely different perspective on the situation.<\/p>\n

In a clip shared on X, the star centerman firmly rejected the idea that the group feels excessive pressure or is trying to force Caufield\u2019s 50th goal.<\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t think so. I mean, he\u2019s finding good spots. We always try to look for him, he\u2019s a great goalscorer.” – Suzuki<\/p>\n

Suzuki also made sure to point out that Caufield still put himself in good scoring positions throughout the game.<\/p>\n

“He hit a lot of chances tonight, it just didn\u2019t go in. I don\u2019t think anyone is trying to force anything to happen. I think we just gotta continue to play and it\u2019ll happen for him.”<\/p>\n
