The Ducks (42-32-5)\u00a0host the\u00a0Canucks\u00a0(23-48-8)\u00a0for\u00a0Anaheim\u2019s final home game of the 2025-26 regular season.<\/p>\n
Puck drop is set for\u00a05\u00a0p.m. PT and will air on\u00a0KCOP-13\u00a0and\u00a0Victory+.<\/p>\n
For the team\u2019s last regular season home game,\u00a0the Ducks are honoring their fans with Fan\u00a0Appreciation\u00a0Night.\u00a0Fans in attendance will have the chance to win\u00a0tons of\u00a0prizes throughout the night\u00a0and there\u2019s a final Surprise Puck sale on the\u00a0Michelob Ultra Puck Drop Patio\u00a0beginning\u00a0at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n
Anaheim got back in the win column on\u00a0Thursday with a commanding 6-1 win over San Jose.\u00a0<\/p>\n
John Carlson led the way with\u00a0three goals on the night becoming the first Ducks defenseman with a hat trick since Cam Fowler in 2018.\u00a0Carlson has 12 points in 13 games with the Ducks since being traded to Anaheim in March.<\/p>\n
“We just played a total game,” Carlson said. “In the defensive zone, I think we were good and that led to our offense. Put the puck away like we know that we can. And we’ve kind of lost a little bit of mojo, and that’s what we’re looking for this time of year is some momentum, and I think that was a great game for that.”<\/p>\n
Troy Terry had a\u00a0two-assist\u00a0night\u00a0which moved him past Rickard\u00a0Rakell for eighth all-time in points\u00a0(340)\u00a0in Ducks franchise history.<\/p>\n
Heading into today\u2019s game,\u00a0the\u00a0Ducks have an opportunity to clinch a playoff spot for the first time\u00a0since the 2017-18 season\u00a0with a win in any fashion vs the Canucks.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The team could have some key reinforcements back as\u00a0Cutter Gauthier (upper-body) and Radko Gudas (lower-body) returned to the ice Saturday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Gauthier said \u201cthe plan\u201d is for him to return\u00a0today\u00a0vs Vancouver.<\/p>\n
The Canucks are on the second night of a back-to-back after beating the Sharks 4-3 in a shootout last night\u00a0to snap a four-game skid.\u00a0Kevin Lankinen returned to the lineup\u00a0for the first time since April 1 stopping\u00a028 of 31 shots.<\/p>\n
The team is out of playoff contention but\u00a0beat the Ducks on two separate occasions\u00a0this season.
