The 24-year-old centre has really turned it on since early March. Rossi has 20 points (7g-13a) in his last 21 games and is continuing to build chemistry with the Canucks\u2019 first power play unit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Jake DeBrusk scored his 23rd\u00a0goal of the season on Tuesday. It was his 19th\u00a0power play goal this year, which is a new career high for the forward.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Quick Hits on the Competition\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Oilers have secured a playoff spot but don\u2019t know whether they will face the Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings, Colorado Avalanche or Utah Mammoth in the opening round of the NHL playoffs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Edmonton is 6-2-2 in their last 10 games.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They are 21-14-5 on home ice this season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Connor McDavid leads the league with 134 points this season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They are without Leon Draisaitl, who is expected to\u00a0return to the lineup at some point in the opening round of the playoffs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Oilers\u2019 power play ranks first in the league,\u00a0scoring on\u00a030.1% of their\u00a0opportunities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Their penalty kill is 21st\u00a0in the league, killing off 77.7% of their penalties.<\/p>\n<p>The Story:\u00a0Foote Praises His Leaders\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Head Coach Adam Foote has liked the way his team has been playing to close out the season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Canucks are on a three-game winning streak, but the wins and losses\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0matter as much as the style of play does at this point in their season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Foote highlighted the leadership of Filip Hronek, Teddy Blueger, Marcus Pettersson, and Brock Boeser following Tuesday\u2019s win.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe way they\u2019re leading allows the youth to grow, and grow faster,\u201d said Foote about the four veterans.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re\u00a0holding them accountable, but in\u00a0a different way, which is\u00a0very positive\u00a0to see.
