{"id":554300,"date":"2026-04-17T05:46:42","date_gmt":"2026-04-17T05:46:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/554300\/"},"modified":"2026-04-17T05:46:42","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T05:46:42","slug":"former-beaver-jackson-jutting-named-to-echl-all-rookie-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/554300\/","title":{"rendered":"Former Beaver Jackson Jutting named to ECHL All-Rookie Team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BEMIDJI \u2014 Even though it\u2019s been over a year since Jackson Jutting wore a Bemidji State jersey, he\u2019s still making headlines.<\/p>\n<p>The former captain and 2025 graduate was named to the ECHL All-Rookie Team for 2025-26, which is determined by a vote from ECHL coaches, broadcasters, media relations directors and media, who were asked to select a goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards.<\/p>\n<p>Playing for the Kansas City Mavericks, Jutting had 30 goals to lead all rookies. He was second among first-year players in points with 59 in 64 games. He had nine power-play goals and 11 game-winning goals.<\/p>\n<p>Jutting has also played four games with the Grand Rapids Griffins this season, the American Hockey League affiliate for the Detroit Red Wings. He recorded one assist.<\/p>\n<p>Jutting is joined by goaltender T.J. Semptimphelter, defensemen Brent Johnson and Ben Meehan and forwards Danny Dzhaniyev and Ryan Kirwan.<\/p>\n<p>Since the ECHL began naming the All-Rookie Team in 2000-01, 23 players selected have gone on to play in the National Hockey League: Simon Gamache (2001-02); Mike Glumac, Vern Fiddler, Adam Hauser, Jason Jaffray and Zenon Konopka (2002-03); Kevin Doell and Brian Fahey (2003-04); Joey Tenute (2004-05); Cedrick Desjardins (2006-07); David Desharnais and Anton Khudobin (2007-08); Richard Bachman (2009-10); Kael Mouillierat and Ben Street (2010-11); Philipp Grubauer (2011-12); Laurent Brossoit (2013-14); Roman Will (2014-15); Jacob MacDonald and Vitek Vanecek (2015-16); Landon Bow (2016-17);
