Welcome back to the annual playoff pick\u2019em contest! We are lucky enough to have the return of Brian LeBlanc to keep track of the points and determine a winner.<\/p>\n
I have not selected an appropriate prize yet, but it will either be a special puck(s) or some other notable memorabilia. I think last year the winner selected from three choices.<\/p>\n

Here are the rules and the way to enter your selections:<\/p>\n
The rules:<\/p>\n
Make a selection for each first round series in the comments: who wins, and in how many games.<\/p>\n
In the first round, you\u2019ll get one point for each winning team you correctly pick. The points double for each successive round, so two for the second, four for the conference final, and eight for the Cup final.<\/p>\n
If you pick\u00a0both\u00a0the correct team\u00a0and\u00a0the correct series length, you\u2019ll also get five bonus points. The five bonus points will stay constant throughout the contest; the points for picking the winners will increase in each round.<\/p>\n
You get zero points if you don\u2019t pick the correct team to win, even if you get the series length correct.<\/p>\n
The maximum score, if you get every single winner correct and nail the length of each of those series, is 107 points. You will not get 107 points. If you get even half of that, you have a good chance of winning the contest.<\/p>\n
The comments will close at the start of Hurricanes\/Senators Game 1 on Saturday at 3:00 Eastern<\/p>\n
