As the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs approach, the Utah Mammoth<\/a> are rolling out a wide-ranging slate of fan events designed to match the significance of the franchise\u2019s first postseason appearance.<\/p>\n

The team, which will face the Vegas Golden Knights<\/a> in the opening round of a best-of-seven series beginning April 19 at T-Mobile Arena, announced a series of community-driven initiatives aimed at engaging fans both inside and outside the Delta Center. The effort also coincides with the two-year anniversary of the NHL\u2019s arrival in Utah, adding another layer of significance to the moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an exciting step for our players and coaches, our entire organization, and most especially our fans,\u201d said Chris Armstrong, president of hockey operations for the Utah Mammoth. \u201cFrom day one, our goal has been to build something the community could rally around throughout the entire state of Utah. Enjoying playoff hockey for the first time in just our second season will be an incredibly special shared experience for everyone. These fan-focused activations provide opportunities for our fans to be even closer to the team as we head into the most important time of the year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Among the most notable events is a player look-alike contest scheduled for April 18 at the SeatGeek Plaza outside the Delta Center, where fans will be encouraged to replicate defenseman Nate<\/a> Schmidt\u2019s appearance for a chance to win signed memorabilia and tickets to Game 3 of the series in Utah.<\/p>\n

The organization is also leaning into the retail side of the postseason, releasing a limited run of 2026 playoff merchandise available both in-arena and online, as demand builds around the team\u2019s inaugural playoff run.<\/p>\n

Beyond the arena, the Mammoth are emphasizing communal viewing experiences, organizing watch parties at several bars and venues across Salt Lake City and the surrounding area. Participating locations are expected to feature giveaways and a high-energy atmosphere throughout the series.<\/p>\n

At the Delta Center, the team plans to enhance its in-game presentation to reflect the postseason stage. Fans attending home games will receive rally towels, while additional elements\u2014including live entertainment, pregame performances, and in-arena activations\u2014are expected to contribute to a more immersive playoff environment.<\/p>\n

Pre-game plaza events will also be open to the public ahead of each home game in the first round, featuring live music, interactive fan experiences, and appearances tied to the team\u2019s branding and game-day presentation.<\/p>\n
