New chapter here and we’ve got to prove that. A big reason for the success the power play has been Jordan. From your perspective, what has he done to that unit in that area? Definitely, you know, one of the best guy in front of the net, you know, and. Tough guy as well and you know when you got those two abilities, it’s always easier to score goals in a power play. What’s the biggest challenge that Ottawa, I mean, obviously with the hockey club, you know, a good team. Just looking back, playing against them 3 times, I feel like they always play fast game and always physical game, so, uh, we got to accept that and play the same way. Do they play similar to you guys? I mean, you know, go after the puck, it’s pressure type of offensive defense. I think it’s not to me. To judge, to be honest, I don’t want to judge their game, but we’ll see tomorrow night. Do you believe in playoffs that series kind of are made by styles? That’s what I mean by like playing styles, the way teams play against each other, you know, does that impact how a series is going to be? Yeah, I mean, every team got the systems, you know, uh, they got their own systems and we got our own systems, so obviously we got the kind of our own style and uh we’re going to rep represent that and, uh, yeah. You’ve been around bastian for a long time. How has he changed, particularly this year it seemed watching him, you know, I then he came back and it really seemed like he was, I don’t want to say a different player, but different in a way after Olympic Games, uh. Different which way you’re talking about confidence, just just ability. I, I’m curious what you see. I don’t know, I just see the same future, to be honest, but uh obviously after those big tournaments, you know, uh you are obviously getting the confidence and uh change you, you know, that that means you’re growing growing up, uh, but uh, you know, he’s an elite player and always going to be and uh it’s lots of fun to play with him. One of the hard workers in this locker room and in the games as well, you know, you just want to stay by his side and battle with him as well. And you’ve played with him for a long time. I’m curious how different is he now and where in his game is he different than he was when you first met him. Good question, very good question. I think. Uh, he was, I feel like he was the same, you know, he always was, uh, a very good player, and, uh, it was always too fun to play with him, but, uh, just one area I think we got the chemistry together, you know, and, uh, Jarvis as well, just three of us, uh, playing all full year together, and, uh, I think that’s what the biggest key we got, yeah. Great, thank you so much, I appreciate it. Thank you. To have the top seed and to have home ice advantage, how much of an advantage does that give you guys? Yeah. Just looking back, you know, we started on the road and at home, I think it’s a big advantage. Obviously, you know, you get your own crowd going and it’s always not fun to play on the road, so I’m sure. It’s not, it’s not going to be fun for those guys to play here, start here, but big advantage. You know, it seems like you guys are really close. How would you kind of describe just the kind of the personality of this year’s team? Yeah, like a family, you know, we’re trying to do here same thing, and some guys been for a while here, you know, some guys, new guys, but obviously we are a very close group and uh you know, I think. In the last couple of months we’ve went to team dinners like 10 times probably or something like that, so we’re very close and yeah, it’s going to be fun to play in play. What message do you want to deliver to the fans as far as for them to bring the energy tomorrow night?
