Right-winger Vladimir Tarasenko scored 23 goals for the Wild this season after netting just 11 times for Detroit in 2024-25. Defenseman Jeff Petry, the son of former Detroit Tigers pitcher Dan Petry, was picked up by Minnesota from the Florida Panthers at the NHL trade deadline.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>The Edmonton Oilers suit up defenseman Jake Walman and goalie Calvin Pickard. Both were part of the Oilers team that reached the Stanley Cup final last spring. Goalie James Reimer and defenseman Nick Jensen are with the Ottawa Senators. Jensen was traded away by previous GM Ken Holland two months before Yzerman was named GM.<\/p>\n<p>Goalies Villie Husso and Petr Mrazek back up Lukas Dostal for the Anaheim Ducks. Lyon won 20 games for the Sabres, posting a .907 save percentage and 2.74 goals-against average.
