You have it all and that makes us an elite organization.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Simply put, it\u2019s a dream space for any hockey player as they spend countless hours inside perfecting their game and bodies to compete in the greatest league in the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be an elite organization you have to have an elite training center and we do and we are very fortunate,\u201d Armstrong added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s truly a special place\u2026Ryan &amp; Ashley Smith crushed this\u2026I do believe this is the best in the National Hockey League.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rather than a ceremonial ribbon cutting, Captain Clayton Keller scored a ceremonial goal to signal the official \u201csoft opening\u201d of the new practice facility.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">A ceremonial goal by Clayton Keller to open the new Utah Mammoth training facility. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/fLY91Wwlll\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/fLY91Wwlll<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Cole Bagley (@BagleyKSLsports) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BagleyKSLsports\/status\/1968402910716338483?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">September 17, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Utah Mammoth\u2019s new practice facility is a community asset<\/p>\n<p>By late 2025, early 2026, the new community spaces at the Utah Mammoth\u2019s practice facility will officially be opened to the public.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to both rinks, the community will have access to eight locker rooms, equipment rentals, a team store, pro shop and other open spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever the rinks are not being used by the Mammoth, the ice will be used for youth and amateur skating programs, figure skating and other recreational activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe boys will get off the ice and youth hockey will jump on this ice,\u201d Ryan Smith said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s one of the coolest things that I\u2019ve learned and seen about hockey\u2026every one of these guys grew up playing youth hockey and they remember that moment because they were that kid\u2026it\u2019s in the culture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Smith, fans will also be able to watch the Utah Mammoth practices at the new facility.<\/p>\n<p>NHL superstars are taking notice of what\u2019s being built for the Utah Mammoth<\/p>\n<p>While Utah has quickly become a point of conversation around the league as fans continue to realize that Salt Lake City was destined to become a hockey town, even NHL superstars like Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and Steven Stamkos have taken notice of what the Mammoth are building.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is the talk around the league right now,\u201d Utah Mammoth forward Michael Carcone said in a recent interview.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt our gym in particular, you can see the Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Steven Stamkos talking about the new facilities. They\u2019ve heard about it. They\u2019re excited for it and they\u2019re not even part of the organization.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A comment that only reaffirms what Stamkos told KSL Sports towards of the end of the season where he recognized the organization\u2019s desire to provide the team with whatever tools they need in order to succeed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOwnership is fantastic. I think everyone knows that.
