Potential lineup change for the Montreal Canadiens ahead of Game 2 tonight vs the Tampa Bay Lightning.<\/p>\n

Zachary Bolduc could be removed from the lineup in favor of Brendan Gallagher.<\/p>\n

Journalist Priyanta Emrith reports that Bolduc has effectively put himself first in line to be the next player scratched, following a costly penalty in Game 1 on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

That kind of undisciplined mistake does not fly in the playoffs.<\/p>\n

Head coach Martin St-Louis has emphasized since the start of the series that discipline would be the key against the Tampa Bay Lightning.<\/p>\n

And Bolduc did not follow that directive.<\/p>\n

Brendan Gallagher could return to the Montreal Canadiens lineup as early as tonight<\/p>\n

For Gallagher, this would mark an unexpected turnaround.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old veteran has been practicing as an extra since early last week and appeared destined to watch the series from the stands.<\/p>\n

“I’m obviously really close with him & it’s not been the easiest of times for him… he’s just a true competitor & a great teammate. When he gets out on the ice wearing that jersey, he’s giving it his all.”<\/p>\n
