With all series-opening clashes in the first round of the 2026 Stanley Cup playoffs now in the rearview mirror, postseason action continued on Tuesday with four Game 2 contests.<\/p>\n
The Montreal Canadiens, Buffalo Sabres, Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Avalanche all looked to build upon their respective Game 1 victories.<\/p>\n

Minnesota Wild vs. Dallas Stars, 9:30 p.m. ET (Series tied 1-1)<\/p>\n
Anaheim Ducks vs. Edmonton Oilers, 10 p.m. ET (Oilers lead series 1-0)<\/p>\n
The Bruins bounced back from their Game 1 collapse, wrapping up an impressive performance against the Sabres at the KeyBank Center.<\/p>\n
After a scoreless first period, Boston scored three times in the second with goals from Viktor Arvidsson, Morgan Geekie and Pavel Zacha. <\/p>\n
Geekie’s shot came from center ice, bouncing past Sabres goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. <\/p>\n
Zacha scored on a power play before the end of the period for Boston before Arvidsson tallied his second goal of the night to give the Bruins a 4-0 lead early in the third.<\/p>\n
Buffalo showed signs of life late, recording two goals in just under two minutes during the third period. <\/p>\n
The Sabres were ultimately unable to overcome the deficit before the final buzzer sounded, though.<\/p>\n
