Utah held a full morning skate ahead of Game 2 in Vegas.<\/p>\n
All players were on the ice including Barrett Hayton who has been out of the lineup with an upper-body injury.<\/p>\n
Head coach Andr\u00e9 Tourigny did not share any lineup updates.<\/p>\n
Focused on Game 2<\/p>\n
There\u2019s plenty of momentum swings in the playoffs, including game to game. However, Utah is focused on staying in the present and not getting ahead of themselves. The team is excited for Game 2 and an opportunity to even the series.<\/p>\n
\u201cLots of belief, lots of confidence,\u201d Captain Clayton Keller said of the Mammoth\u2019s attitude going into today. \u201cLiked a lot of things about our Game 1, just match that intensity and we’re all super excited for it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe only thing that\u2019s important in our life is tonight,\u201d Tourigny said. \u201cYou cannot win two games tonight; we cannot win three. It\u2019s one game. It\u2019s one game at a time, it\u2019s here and now.\u201d<\/p>\n
Keeping the Intensity<\/p>\n
When it comes to games during Stanley Cup Playoffs, the level of play is raised compared to the regular season. Utah is focused on bringing a high level of intensity throughout the game.<\/p>\n
\u201cReally like the level of focus and intensity last game, but that has to keep rising, especially focus wise,\u201d Tourigny explained. \u201cI think both teams will make some little adjustments, little tweaks, and you need to keep getting better.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cJust keep the same intensity, have a good start,\u201d Keller said. \u201cThey\u2019re a great veteran them, they start well, so I think we have to match their intensity to start.\u201d<\/p>\n
Details will matter tonight as sometimes one single moment can be the game\u2019s difference maker.\u00a0<\/p>\n
