Despite the shared name with a Pittsburgh hockey team, the penguins at Adventure Aquarium have their loyalties straight.<\/p>\n
Aquarium staff members confirmed that the resident penguins are rooting for the Philadelphia Flyers<\/a> in the NHL playoffs against the Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a>.<\/p>\n Recent headlines: Cape May County zoo welcomes new baby capybaras<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWe, the penguins of Adventure Aquarium, would like to get ahead of any allegations that we support those other penguins in Pittsburgh,\u201d a sign in the aquarium read. \u201cWe demonstrate the true values of brotherly love and passion for our city, unlike those frauds across the state.\u201d<\/p>\n In a social media post<\/a>, the Camden-based penguins are shown hanging out in their newly decorated exhibit, adorned with signs that read \u201cpenguins love Philadelphia Flyers,\u201d as well as mini pom-poms and hockey sticks.<\/p>\n Although their loyalty is not with their species, the penguins at the aquarium are supported in their decision.<\/p>\n In an Instagram comment, the Flyers mascot Gritty wrote: \u201cI\u2019ll allow it.\u201d<\/p>\n Additional animals at Aventure Aquarium are also showing support for the Flyers.
