PHILADELPHIA \u2014 After winning twice in Pittsburgh, the Flyers are looking to make it a hat trick in this first-round playoff series.<\/p>\n
The Flyers discussed it after Saturday night\u2019s 4-2 loss in Game 4 of their best-of-seven opening-round playoff series. The last thing the Flyers want to do is face the pressure of coming back to Philadelphia again for a Game 6.<\/p>\n
Better to wrap it up in Game 5 on Monday night in the Steel City.<\/p>\n
Coach Rick Tocchet summed up his opinion on the subject in just two words: \u201cHundred percent.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know we go game to game,\u201d Tocchet said. \u201cWe\u2019ll have a light practice tomorrow, get ready back at it. This is the playoffs. You have to forget about stuff. That doesn\u2019t mean you can\u2019t learn from mistakes.<\/p>\n
\u201cTip your hat to them. They came to play. And we\u2019ll go from there.\u201d<\/p>\n
Goaltender Dan Vladar still likes how the Flyers are positioned. In the 100-year history of the NHL, only four teams have come back from an 0-3 deficit.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf somebody told you guys before the series we were going to be up 3-1 after four games, you wouldn\u2019t believe us,\u201d Vladar said. \u201c Nothing is changing for us, still being positive. They have a really good team. It\u2019s not easy to get four in a row against a team like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Travis Konecny appreciates the fact the Flyers won 23 times on the road this year. That\u2019s the fourth-highest total in team history and the most since 2011.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve been playing well on the road,\u201d he said, \u201cso we just need to simplify a little bit. We\u2019ll see. We\u2019re going to go for our best effort in there and hopefully we can get it done.\u201d<\/p>\n
Christian Dvorak believes the Flyers can take something from their strong road record this season. The Flyers have also performed well after losses. They didn\u2019t lose back-to-back games in regulation time until December.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve been responding after a loss and after adversity,\u201d he said. \u201c Can\u2019t get too frustrated. We\u2019re still in a good spot. Get back to work.\u201d<\/p>\n
