Columbus Blue Jackets<\/a> goaltender Jet Greaves<\/a> will represent Team Canada at the upcoming World Hockey Championship, TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reports.<\/p>\n

Dreger adds there are ongoing discussions about which two other netminders will join Greaves on the roster.<\/p>\n

Greaves posted a 26-19-9 record this season in his first full season of NHL action with a .908 save percentage and a 2.60 goals-against average. He posted a 7-2-2 record with a .938 save percentage and a 1.91 GAA in 11 games to end last season.<\/p>\n

Greaves joins a roster that already includes a Winnipeg Jets<\/a> trio of Gabriel Vilardi<\/a>, Dylan DeMelo<\/a> and Mark Scheifele<\/a>, as well as Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> forward John Tavares<\/a>, St. Louis Blues<\/a> centre Robert Tomas, and Nashville Predators<\/a> veteran Ryan O\u2019Reilly.<\/p>\n

Canada will open the tournament on May 15 against Sweden with every game available to watched on TSN.<\/p>\n

Canada is a part of Group B with Sweden, Czechia, Denmark, Slovakia, Norway, Slovenia, and Italy.<\/p>\n

Canada will prepare for the tournament in Paris, France prior to the beginning of the tournament and will take on France and Hungary in two pre-tournament games.<\/p>\n
