With the 2025\u201326 season complete, members of the Belleville Senators are taking time to reflect on the year that was, both individually and as a group. Each of our 2026 Exit Interviews highlights a player\u2019s season, some of their favourite moments off the ice, and their plans heading into the summer.<\/p>\n
Back for a second season in Belleville, Xavier Bourgault had a breakout year, collecting 57 points (25 goals, 32 assists) over 70 games, finishing second on Belleville\u2019s points list this season. Bourgault set new career-highs in seven different categories (games played, goals, assists, points, penalty minutes, shots on goal, shooting percentage), and also earned his first career National Hockey League recall, dressing twice for the Ottawa Senators in December and January.<\/p>\n
