Carter Bear scored a pair of goals and was named the No. 1 star as the Everett Silvertips downed the Prince Albert Raiders to tie their best-of-seven Western Hockey League playoff final 1-1.<\/p>\n

After losing the first game, the Silvertips needed an early spark and Bear (drafted at No. 15, 2025) supplied it by scoring at 3:20 of the first period. Bear also brough a physical presence, ending up with two roughing penalties in the game.<\/p>\n

Bear\u2019s playing style should fit into the Red Wings\u2019 mandate of wanting to be harder to play against moving forward.<\/p>\n

Bear now has three goals in the first two games of the series against Prince Albert. He was plus-3 in the game, moving him to plus-19 in the postseason. He has six goals and 19 points in the WHL playoffs in 16 games.<\/p>\n

The best-of-five series is tied 2-2. heading into Tuesday\u2019s Game 5. Three of the games in the series were decided in overtime<\/p>\n
