A very unfortunate incident that took place outside the Bell Centre during a Montreal Canadiens game has just been revealed, and there will be consequences.<\/p>\n
Montreal police must now intervene.<\/p>\n
A 56-year-old fan was attacked for no apparent reason by another fan while leaving the arena at the beginning of May.<\/p>\n
TVA Sports shared the official information on social media.<\/p>\n
The kind of news we hate to see.<\/p>\n
The SPVM has taken over the case to deal with the person responsible for this regrettable act outside the Bell Centre<\/p>\n
The 56-year-old man, a father, was simply leaving the arena.<\/p>\n
But it was only three weeks later, on May 21, that the man went to a Montreal police station to file a complaint.<\/p>\n
The incident took place on Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montr\u00e9al, near the intersection with De la Montagne Street.<\/p>\n
The man was simply walking among a group of fans.<\/p>\n
And that is when the situation escalated, according to footage obtained by La Presse.<\/p>\n
