“It’s pretty easy to get assists when you’re feeding back the puck. He’s got a great shot,” he said.<\/p>\n
But it was his leadership that impressed Ruck the most.<\/p>\n
According to him, Pickford is also an excellent leader away from the rink.<\/p>\n
Ruck explained, among other things, that the team struggled during defenseman Bryce Pickford’s absence and that his return completely changed things.<\/p>\n

Ruck described the effect of Pickford’s return.<\/p>\n
“The whole room was more energized just having him back in the locker room,” he shared.<\/p>\n
Ruck said he didn’t fully realize the extent of Pickford’s impact until he returned to the lineup.<\/p>\n
The defenseman is also expected to undergo surgery this summer.<\/p>\n

Bryce Pickford is truly a name to watch, and he has become an absolutely incredible acquisition for Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens on defense.<\/p>\n
