But what Gasseau takes to San Jose is a wide range of on-ice tools and a tremendous legacy as one of the Eagles’ most consistent forwards in their 100-plus-year history.

Speaking of history, Gasseau joined an elite company when he logged his 111th point in early 2026 as BC’s season wound to a close. This mark made Gasseau the highest-scoring Eagle since David Cotton’s 137 points from 2016 to 2020.

Ranking 66th among BC’s all-time scorers, Gasseau joined former teammates Eamon Powell, Gabe Perreault, Ryan Leonard, Cutter Gauthier, and Cotton as the only Eagles to reach the 100-point mark since the late Johnny Gaudreau’s 175 from 2011 to 2014.

Gasseau remains unsigned by the Sharks, but given the young core of forwards available to Head Coach Ryan Warsofsky, it would be crazy not to see Gasseau in a teal uniform this fall as this new powerhouse comes together in San Jose.

Below are a couple more Bruins-related nuggets featuring Eagle skaters on track for another season inside Conte Forum in 2026-27:

Just after noon on Thursday, the Boston Bruins announced the trade of former Boston College forward Andre Gasseau…

[5099
154,95,5132,530,5,4
post-603001","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-boston-bruins","tag-boston","tag-boston-bruins","tag-bostonbruins","tag-bruins","tag-hockey","tag-nhl
["GET
