The Boston Bruins<\/a> are making even more changes to their front office.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Tuesday morning, the Bruins announced that Kevyn Adams<\/a> has been hired as a Senior Advisor to the General Manager, Dennis Bonvie<\/a> and Jeremy Rogalski<\/a> have been named Assistant General Managers, and Alex Gimenez has been named Director of Hockey Operations, Collective Bargaining Agreement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Assistant General Manager Evan Gold<\/a> will depart the organization, effective August 1, \u201cto pursue other opportunities in the National Hockey League.\u201d<\/p>\n

The #NHLBruins<\/a> announce some front office changes:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Kevyn Adams has been named Senior Advisor to the General Manager
\u2013 Dennis Bonvie has been named Assistant GM, Player Personnel
\u2013 Jeremy Rogalski has been named Assistant GM, Analytics & Strategy
\u2013 Alex Gimenez has been named\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we continue to build our staff, these changes recognize the hard work and growth of people within our organization while also adding experienced voices to our group,\u201d said Don Sweeney<\/a> in a statement. \u201cI\u2019m confident Kevyn, Dennis, Jeremy and Alex will each play an important role as we continue to improve our team both this upcoming season and beyond. I\u2019d also like to thank Evan for his contributions over the past several seasons. He has been a valued member of our Hockey Operations Department, and we appreciate everything he has done for our organization. We wish Evan and his family all the best as he pursues his next opportunity in the National Hockey League.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kevyn Adams, a first-round pick of the Bruins in 1993, worked with the Buffalo Sabres organization from 2009-26. He most recently served as the general manager from 2020 until he was let go from his post on December 15, 2025. Before his time as general manager, he worked in the organization in various roles, spanning from development coach to senior vice president of business administration.<\/p>\n

Elliotte Friedman previously reported that Adams was joining the front office at the draft<\/a>. After the JJ Peterka trade<\/a>, Sweeney labeled Adams as \u201ca resource.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dennis Bonvie will assume the role of Assistant General Manager, Player Personnel within the organization. He previously served as the director of professional scouting, a role he assumed in 2022-23, and he joined the Bruins organization as a pro scout in 2015. Bonvie worked with the Chicago Blackhawks from 2009-15 and was part of three Stanley Cup-winning teams.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jeremy Rogalski has been named Assistant General Manager, Analytics and Strategy. The West Springfield native has been the Bruins\u2019 Director of Hockey Analytics since 2017, and he joined the organization as an assistant to hockey administration in 2009 before becoming a video analyst in 2010.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alex Gimenez will assume a newly created role: Director of Hockey Operations, Collective Bargaining Agreement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Gimenez will be \u201cresponsible for contract negotiations, salary cap management, CBA compliance, and player acquisition strategy.\u201d He previously worked for the Professional Women\u2019s Hockey League, serving as Manager of Hockey Analytics and Strategic Projects. Before that, he spent over a decade working for the Boston Red Sox front office.<\/p>\n

Evan Gold has been an Assistant General Manager since the beginning of the 2019-20 season, and he assumed the role of Providence Bruins<\/a> general manager in March 2023. In his role, he helped oversee day-to-day hockey operations, as well as the salary cap, contract negotiations, and CBA compliance.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Gold is not the only assistant general manager to depart Boston this summer. Jamie Langenbrunner left the organization in May \u201cto pursue other opportunities in the National Hockey League.\u201d Gold was a finalist for the Canucks\u2019 job<\/a> but lost out to Ryan Johnson.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ahead of the draft, Don Sweeney said the moves have nothing to do with the budget. He added that the group has been together for a long time, and \u201csometimes change is a positive thing for everybody.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
