{"id":654096,"date":"2026-09-02T10:57:16","date_gmt":"2026-09-02T10:57:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/654096\/"},"modified":"2026-09-02T10:57:16","modified_gmt":"2026-09-02T10:57:16","slug":"devils-acquire-luke-evangelista-from-predators-for-picks-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/654096\/","title":{"rendered":"Devils acquire Luke Evangelista from Predators for picks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The New Jersey Devils have landed forward Luke Evangelista from the Nashville Predators in exchange for draft capital, the team announced Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Nashville will receive New Jersey\u2019s second-round pick in 2028 and a first-round pick via the Colorado Avalanche, conditional upon the latter pick not transferring to the Toronto Maple Leafs or the pick falling in the top 10.<\/p>\n<p>In return, New Jersey is getting a 24-year-old fresh off his first 50-point season.
