Dylan Gambrell and Gerry Mayhew will serve as alternate captains during home games while Matt Kiersted and Tyler Pitlick will serve as alternate captains on the road.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" paraeid=\"{889c98bf-c35f-45ea-825f-5677dd181976}{121}\" paraid=\"222884046\">Shaw, 27 (11\/3\/98), tallied 44 points (15-29=44), a plus-7 rating and 162 shots on goal in 71 AHL games with the Manitoba Moose (AHL) last season, leading the team in points and\u00a0assists\u00a0while serving as captain. The 5-foot-10, 186-pound native of Wainwright, Alberta, owns 20 points (8-12=20) in 82 career games across parts of three NHL seasons (2021-24), all with Minnesota, recording career-high totals in games played (59), points (7-10=17), goals and assists with the Wild in 2022-23. Shaw has recorded 202 points (75-127=202) and 394 penalty minutes (PIM) in 340 career games\u00a0across\u00a0parts of nine AHL seasons with Manitoba (2024-26) and the Iowa Wild (2017-24) and ranks sixth on the all-time Iowa Wild leaderboard with 131 points (43-78=131) and T-7th with 43 goals. He has also recorded three goals in 10 career Calder Cup Playoff games across two postseason appearances in 2019 and 2026. Shaw has represented Canada at multiple international competitions, most recently posting one goal in three games while serving as an alternate captain at the 2025 Spengler Cup. He posted 163 points (47-116=163) in 161 games across three WHL seasons with the Medicine Hat Tigers,\u00a0ranking fifth\u00a0in the WHL in assists and T-7th in scoring during the 2016-17 season. Shaw was originally selected by Minnesota in the fourth round (No. 97 overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" paraeid=\"{889c98bf-c35f-45ea-825f-5677dd181976}{200}\" paraid=\"1274710960\">Gambrell, 30\u00a0(8\/26\/96), collected 36 points (10-26=36), four PIM, 78 shots on goal and five power play goals (PPG) in 35 games with Iowa last season.\u00a0The 6-foot, 185-pound native of Bonney Lake, Wash., ranked second on Iowa in assists and was T-3rd in points and PPG.\u00a0Gambrell has tallied 40 points (17-23=40), 79 PIM, two shorthanded goals (SHG) and 202 shots on goal in 233 career NHL games over a span of six seasons with the San Jose Sharks (2017-21) and Ottawa Senators (2022-23). He also owns 155 points (60-95=155), 89 PIM, 14 PPG, five game-winning goals (GWG) and 486 shots on goal in 224 AHL games over six seasons with the San Jose Barracuda (2018-22), Toronto Marlies (2023-24), Cleveland Monsters (2024-25) and Iowa (2025-26). He has appeared in 13 Calder Cup Playoff games, collecting seven points (4-3=7) and two GWG with San Jose (2019), Toronto (2024)\u00a0and Cleveland (2025). Prior to his professional career, Gambrell skated in 120 games at Denver University over three seasons (2015-18), where he collected 132 points (43-89=132), 55 PIM, 10 power play goals, six GWG and 132 shots on goal. He helped lead Denver to a National Championship in the 2016-17 season, collecting 42 points (13-29=42) in 38 games.\u00a0He was originally selected by San Jose in the second round (No. 60 overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" paraeid=\"{47a7cb71-c105-4589-9494-5ac5eb7a8ffd}{75}\" paraid=\"745700905\">Mayhew, 33 (12\/31\/1992), is Iowa\u2019s all-time leader in goals (119), points (220),\u00a0game-winning goals (18), and shots (690). The 5-foot-9, 161-pound native of Wyandotte, Mich., also ranks\u00a0second in\u00a0games played (288) and\u00a0power-play goals (37),\u00a0T-2nd in shorthanded goals (4),\u00a0and\u00a0T-3rd\u00a0in assists (101).\u00a0Mayhew holds Iowa\u2019s single season records for goals (39, 2019-20) and shots (205, 2018-19). During the 2019-20 season, Mayhew was selected for the AHL All-Star Game and won the Les Cunningham Award (AHL Most Valuable Player) and Willie Marshall Award (AHL goals leader).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" paraeid=\"{47a7cb71-c105-4589-9494-5ac5eb7a8ffd}{83}\" paraid=\"296549975\">Mayhew owns\u00a0220\u00a0points (119-101=220),\u00a0210\u00a0PIM, and a plus-14\u00a0rating across 288\u00a0games in an Iowa Wild uniform.\u00a0He posted 42 points (22-20=42), 32 PIM, and a minus-16 rating in 60 games with Iowa in 2025-26.\u00a0He has recorded\u00a0352\u00a0points (185-167=352), 370\u00a0PIM, and a\u00a0minus-4\u00a0rating over\u00a0505\u00a0AHL games with the Iowa Wild (2016-21, 2025-26), Lehigh Valley Phantoms (2021-22), Charlotte Checkers (2022-24), and Rockford IceHogs (2024-25). Mayhew made his NHL debut on Oct. 15, 2019, against Toronto and has posted 15 points (13-2=15), 20 PIM, and a minus-1 rating in 57 career NHL games with the Minnesota Wild (2019-21), Philadelphia Flyers (2021-22), and Anaheim Ducks (2021-22).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" paraeid=\"{0a9fd04d-9737-44d9-abe3-a0e23af3a313}{69}\" paraid=\"1934720685\">Kiersted, 28 (4\/14\/98), posted 12\u00a0points (4-8=12), 38 PIM, and a plus-2 rating in 49 games with Iowa last season. The 6-foot-0, 181-pound native of Elk River, Minn., also registered an assist in six games with Minnesota in 2025-26. For his career, Kiersted has skated in 282\u00a0games and notched\u00a097\u00a0points (20-77=97), 239 PIM and a plus-59 rating across five seasons with Charlotte (2021-25) and Iowa (2025-26) and posted 12 points (1-11=12) in 30 career Calder Cup Playoff games. He has also tallied eight\u00a0points (2-6=8) in 45\u00a0career games in parts of five NHL seasons with the Florida Panthers (2020-25) and Minnesota (2025-26). Kiersted played four seasons (2017-21) at the University of North Dakota, skating in 127 games and tallying 77 points (20-57=77) and earning All-National Collegiate Hockey Conference First Team honors as a senior in 2020-21.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" paraeid=\"{0a9fd04d-9737-44d9-abe3-a0e23af3a313}{169}\" paraid=\"1523454037\">Pitlick, 34 (11\/1\/91), recorded\u00a015\u00a0points (10-5=15) and a minus-6 rating with Iowa\u00a0last season. He also registered two goals, 24 PIM, and a minus-4 rating with Minnesota in 32 games in 2025-26. The 6-foot-2, 201-pound native of Minneapolis, Minn., owns 111 points (58-53=111), 126 PIM,\u00a0and a minus-10 rating in\u00a0452 career NHL games over 11 seasons with the Edmonton Oilers (2013-17), Dallas Stars (2017-19), Philadelphia Flyers (2019-20), Arizona Coyotes (2020-21), Calgary Flames (2021-22), Montreal Canadiens (2021-22), St. Louis Blues (2022-23), New York Rangers (2023-24), and Minnesota Wild (2025-26). He owns three points (2-1=3) in 22 career Stanley Cup Playoff games. Pitlick has also recorded 153 points (62-91=153), 96 PIM, 14 PPG, 12 GWG and 615\u00a0shots on goal in 297 career AHL games over eight\u00a0seasons with the Oklahoma City Barons (2011-15), Bakersfield Condors (2015-16), Hartford Wolf Pack (2023-24),\u00a0Providence Bruins (2024-25) and Iowa Wild (2025-26). Prior to his professional career, Pitlick played two years at Centennial High School (2007-09) and one season at Minnesota State University, Mankato (2009-10).
