Now, the club will try to bounce back on Tuesday night, opening a three-game homestand against the Utah Mammoth.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a matter of time before the team\u2019s newcomers find their rhythm and special teams start connecting. Once that happens, the Devils will be in a much better position to tackle the season ahead. This installment of News and Rumors spotlights <a href=\"https:\/\/thehockeywriters.com\/docs\/luke-evangelista\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Luke Evangelista<\/a>\u2018s fit on the team so far, <a href=\"https:\/\/thehockeywriters.com\/docs\/jesper-boqvist\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jesper Boqvist<\/a> making his season debut, and the Prudential Financial partnership expansion.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLuke Evangelista\u2019s Early Success<\/p>\n<p>It often takes a while for players to navigate the locker room of a new team, find chemistry with their linemates, and acclimate to new surroundings. That has not been the case for Evangelista, who has slotted in alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/thehockeywriters.com\/docs\/timo-meier\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Timo Meier<\/a> and Nico Hischier as if they\u2019ve been playing together for years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He scored two goals in the Devils\u2019 4-1 preseason win against the Islanders and notched his first goal on the power play off a wrist shot below the crossbar six minutes into the first period.
