He suffered the injury during a pregame warm-up. Staal was out last night in Carolina\u2019s 4-2 win over the Capitals. Jesperi Kotkaniemi slid into the lineup for Staal. Carolina also saw Taylor Hall leave last night\u2019s win with an upper-body injury. Hall\u2019s injury led to the Hurricanes recalling forward Bradly Nadeau.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ticketmaster.evyy.net\/c\/5142595\/264167\/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Purchase tickets via Ticketmaster<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nadeau in four games this season has a goal which came on the power-play and is a minus-six. The Hurricanes drafted him 30th overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. He\u2019s appeared in 15 career games recording four points on three goals and an assist. He\u2019s a minus-two with a power-play goal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nadeau has played in 120 career AHL games for Chicago recording 115 points on 60 goals and 55 assists. He\u2019s a minus-ten with 18 power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, and 12 game-winning goals. He\u2019s also appeared in 23 career Calder Cup Playoff games and was a focal point of the Wolves reaching the Calder Cup Finals. He had 17 points in last year\u2019s run to the Finals on seven goals and ten assists.
