They\u2019ll get two at home before going back out on the road. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThey are desperate right now after the past few games,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/floridahockeynow.com\/tag\/matthew-tkachuk\/\" class=\"pb-player-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Matthew Tkachuk<\/a> said. \u201cThat\u2019s a challenge right there. We haven\u2019t played many home games \u2014 and lost our last one here. We should be desperate as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Panthers will be without <a href=\"https:\/\/floridahockeynow.com\/tag\/radko-gudas\/\" class=\"pb-player-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Radko Gudas<\/a> as he misses his second straight game since getting popped on the knee during the second period in Buffalo on Monday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paul Maurice said Gudas could be back Saturday against the Kraken \u2014 or at least by Wednesday for the Tkachuk Bowl in Ottawa. <\/p>\n<p>GAMEDAY NOTES: CANUCKS at PANTHERS<\/p>\n<p>Starting Goalies:\u00a0The Panthers will return to <a href=\"https:\/\/floridahockeynow.com\/tag\/akira-schmid\/\" class=\"pb-player-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Akira Schmid<\/a> for the second straight game with <a href=\"https:\/\/floridahockeynow.com\/tag\/cooper-black\/\" class=\"pb-player-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cooper Black<\/a> backing up. <a href=\"https:\/\/floridahockeynow.com\/tag\/jacob-markstrom\/\" class=\"pb-player-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jacob Markstrom<\/a> skated Thursday and could be ready for Saturday, Maurice said.
