He wondered what Dallas would do if Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner agreed to be traded to the Dallas Stars.Friedman said, \u201cIf you\u2019re Dallas, is there any chance Mitch Marner says, \u2018Yeah, I\u2019m willing to go there\u2019? Then, you\u2019re forced into a decision [on Jason Robertson].\u201dFans immediately started fresh arguments on social media when this concept went widely distributed. Marner is presently in the last year of his contract with the Maple Leafs. Should Toronto not view him as a future fit, they might consider trading him right away. Marner has a no-movement clause, therefore he has to accept any team he is sent to.
